...I have continued to use math, and chemistry in my engineering career building scientific instruments for chemistry research (NMR probes). I also enjoy mathematical puzzles and games. I am a chemistry graduate from UC Berkeley. My studies included an advanced organic course and an advanced organic laboratory course in addition to the normal organic chemistry class.

I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2012 with a B.S. in Mathematics. I've been tutoring math since high school, though, and so far I've helped more than 40 students. My students have ranged in age from 10 to 55, and in subjects from pre-algebra to calculus and statistics.

...I will help you review the underlying math concepts, and teach you effective ways of using the calculator. For practice I use the actual ACT exams, that were administered to students in the past. This is in addition to the homework problems, that I assign as practice of the reviewed math material.

I tutored all lower division math classes at the Math Learning Center at Cabrillo Community College for 2 years. I assisted in the selection and training of tutors. I have taught algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, geometry, linear algebra, and business math at various community colleges and a state university for 4 years.
