My experience is that of a Foreign Language Instructor at local colleges. I teach beginning and intermediate levels of Spanish and Italian. I have, also, designed classes--in other words, when the class was "special" and no one was really sure how to teach it, I took all necessary information from the students and then designed it to meet the grammatical plus the specific needs of that class.

...At St. Joseph's University I was able to learn about everything that interests me in the Spanish language-dialectology and linguistics, literature, culture and history. I completed the requirements for a Spanish major in two years and with continued work in Spanish and other foreign languages I was able to attain a minor in Latin American Studies.

...I love it! It was my major in college and I use it every day in my career as a non-profit manager. I work at an elementary school in Camden and I love speaking Spanish at work and while traveling (I have been to over 13 countries!). Being with people makes me happy, especially if I can help someone reach their goals.
