I am a newly transferred undergraduate mathematics student at the University of Chicago. I previously was in the Marine Corps then sent to the Naval Academy. While at the academy, I did a lot of volunteer tutoring on weekends for local high and middle schools, and I was a tutor or (midshipman group study leader) for other midshipmen at the Naval Academy.

...I took **trigonometry** as part of my algebra course in middle and high school. I also took more advanced courses, where **trigonometry** and trigonometric functions have been extensively used. One of those courses would be Linear Algebra, where scalar and vector products of vectors involve trigonometric functions.
