...For example, I had a professor instill in me the practice of leaving a blank line between each step and two lines between each problem and using a ruler and colored pencils when drawing graphs. The results from this lead to a noticeable decrease in mistakes and made it easier to identify the mistakes I was making. Neater work will also make your homework and tests easier to grade!
