...Not only do I consider grammar very important, but I also find it interesting for its own sake. The most effective way to study grammar is by breaking sentences down into small pieces: clauses, phrases, individual words and punctuation marks, and then analyzing the correct usage of every element making up the sentence. I find diagramming sentences to be extremely helpful.

...I designed instruction to promote active participation, allowing them to interact with what they are learning. Instruction was "chunked" into small time intervals, allowing them to take frequent breaks. I also designed/created enviornments that allowed them to take "brain breaks" so they could unwind and re-focus when they return to instruction.
