I have had much success tutoring over my career as an educator. I find it easy to relate to students in 1 on 1 or small group settings and can present material in a way that they can understand it. If one approach doesn't work, I'll try another...then another, until the student feels comfortable.

...In addition, I am a teaching assistant for a Freshman Programs class at Pitt, which is an hour a week and is basically meant to make the adjustment to college as easy as possible for freshman. I've found that I really enjoy teaching and tutoring, and would love to continue to do so over the summer.
