I have been enrolled in college-leveled engineering calculus courses for the past year, and have been tutoring calculus for two years. Like all my subjects, I teach by using probing questions to force the student to think critically about the material so they may learn rather than just memorize.

...Since my elementary years, I've been an advanced student in my math classes. I finished BC Calculus (the highest math course available at my high school) junior year with a 5 out of 5 on the AP test. My senior year, I took AP Statistics.
...It's amazing how far a little help and a few pointers can go in bringing up grades. After graduating, I went on to be a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Mathematics Department at the University of Kansas. So I have a lot of experience helping students with math!
