...Calculus is a fascinating subject and often considered the gateway to higher math. I have taught both precalculus and SAT Level 2 (which covers similar material). Most of precalculus is about the basic functions: polynomial, rational, trigonometric, and exponential/logarithmic. If you know how these functions look and behave, I've found that most of the subject becomes easier.
