...When I tutor Discrete Math, most time is spent sitting beside a white board discussing different ways of imagining what the question is really asking. That's usually the most difficult part. Once a picture is in the students head, we go about sketching proofs on the white board and attacking the idea from different directions until it's wrestled to the ground.
