...I understand that not all students like math, but I believe that my easy going attitude has made me successful with many types of students. Over the past two years, I have taught Algebra I at the high school level. In Howard County, and likely elsewhere, the curriculum for Algebra I changed this year to match the new Common Core that is rolling in.

The reason I would like to tutor is because I understand the difficulty that comes from learning. As a child I struggled to write my own name up until I was five years old and addition and subtraction seemed like calculus to me.
