I've just completed my first year of college. I've tutored for several years now, both independently and at a local math learning center, and am excited to gain more experience and improve my teaching style. I specialize in middle and high school math, the SAT, and Spanish, so if you have any interest in improving any of those skills, please feel free to reach out!

In the schoolyear 2008/2009 I worked for Plano ISD for an elementary school, teaching children in inclusion classrooms. Besides behavior management and study skills, the main subjects were English, Math and life sciences.

...In teaching algebra, I approach the subject from multiple perspectives, to see which one helps the student understand the material the best. Higher level algebra is a particularly fun subject for me, as it gets more conceptual and less mechanical than lower levels of math classes. I have studied French for many years and now speak, read, and write it fluently.
