Again my main job was not a tutor during my college years, but whenever there was a chance I tutored Algebra 2, pre-Calculus, and Calculus.

...I have taught prealgebra to 6th & 7th graders for 6 years. Understanding is key at this level to have a solid base for upper level math concepts to build on. Therefore, I use manipulatives, various writing methods and work with each students' learning style to help them gain confidence in their work.
...I am well-organized, and I have used this skill to help my students organize themselves academically. Study strategies are another area that I can help students with as I am experienced in teaching ELL students, who need extra support in reading comprehension, memorization strategies, etc. I completed a 100-hour TEFL/TESL certification course from i-to-i in 2009.
