My love of learning sprung from from the sciences early on in life. I had a toy microscope when I was 7 and by middle school I was testing audio signals I had designed and subjected my close friends to for changes in brain activity. I studied molecular, cellular, and developmental biology at the University of Colorado in Boulder and have had a strong focus in biology ever since.
