...I enjoy finding the connections between all the different properties, and encouraging my students to do the same. A good foundation in pre-algebra will help through the rest of the math courses that follow. As a general rule, I believe in not only learning the processes and rule, but understanding how and why they work.

...There is always a way. Sometimes you just gotta present the material in a slightly different way in order for that light bulb to go off.I have experience tutoring kids from 4 year olds through 6th graders at my high school.
