...I have been using math all my life. I was a statistics major at Mount Holyoke College and moved into the marketing research industry. For those of you not familiar with the industry, it is one based in the scientific method so just about everything we do involves math: from basic counting to abstract algebra.

This is due to the math involved being very different to previous maths courses, thus it can feel very abstract. It is here that students are introduced to some advanced mathematical concepts such as limits, differentiation and integration.
