...I have multiple ways of teaching most science concepts, based on the different ways my students learn. My tutoring lessons will be catered to the specific way you learn. For example, some (like myself) like to see it come out of the Math, others are visual learners, and others like to see how it is applied.

...In addition, I've tutored hundreds of students independently during my undergrad years, while teaching, and most recently through being a TA for undergrads at UF. I know how tricky math and physics can be, and I'm well versed as a "Physics to English" translator. I have been using the same math you're using in class everyday.

I have been a high school math teacher for six years and have been privately tutoring students for five years. I have mainly worked with high school-level students, but I would feel comfortable working with elementary and middle school levels as well. I have experience teaching and tutoring Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and SAT Math.

...I also make sure to explain math to students in a way that they understand the reasoning behind "why" we do certain things in math. This way they have an understanding beyond just plugging things into an equation. The ISEE is a test for admission to private schools.

...I have taken 2 years of abstract algebra, which is a generalization of linear algebra, and am going on to get my PhD in algebraic geometry, a heavily linear algebra-based field. Furthermore, I have used linear algebra in quantum mechanics, real analysis (infinite dimensional Hilbert spaces and such), probability and statistics. I just graduated from Caltech with a BS with Honors in Math.
