...This is where I discovered being good in mathematics does not always mean you are a good teacher. You need to listen to students, provide "the" easiest and most direct means to solve problems. I know that I am a better college teacher as a result of teaching at a high school.

...As a fifth grade teacher, I have the privilege of preparing students for tests and quizzes. I use various techniques such as creating note cards, two-column notes, and flip books. I also set up games and train the students how to focus in on what they don't know and how to best memorize it and understand it.
