I studied Biology with a minor in mathematics at Purdue University. Currently I am an adjunct instructor at a college. Most recently, I taught Algebra and Geometry at the high school level.
...It is a matter of time management and an strategic approach to questions. Math knowledge for the quantitative section, in which I can help, is not expected to be nothing more than High School level. Is reasoning in a logic way which takes you to the other side.

...I have four years of tutoring both high school and undergraduate students. I enjoy teaching because it's fulfilling to see someone struggle with an obstacle and still overcome it. I believe any student can learn and internalize these apparently difficult subjects with an understanding and effective educator.
...Personally, I have seen that seem that students sometimes do not need help in content as much as in building their confidence. I can help with test taking and studying strategies. Furthermore, I can also help with time management and organizational skills.
...First I try to understand what about the material the student finds difficult or complicated. Each student is unique and has different strengths and weaknesses that effect the way he or she may approach a problem. I find that the best way to teach is by starting with examples and scenarios that apply to the person being tutored.
