...My experience includes teaching students in urban, suburban, magnet, private, and public schools; teaching AP level, honors level, college prep level, and conceptual level courses; and teaching students with a variety of learning styles. I know that students learn by doing, not by listening. My tutoring sessions are guided by "doing", with explanations and encouragement as needed.

I earned 5s on both AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC in 2000 and 2001.

...I truly enjoy helping students do their best work and I pride myself in creating a learning environment where this can take place. While I have primarily taught courses in physics, I have also taught chemistry and physical science classes as well. I would be interested in tutoring mathematics at the middle and high school levels in addition to the listed science disciplines.
