...I make learning fun and engaging for each student. One-on-one/small group tutoring are my favorite teaching dynamics because it gives me a chance to really get to know a student and understand their unique style of learning. I happily work with both main stream and students with special needs, and I'm able to develop a strong teacher/student relationship.

...I always try to have at least three ways for explaining one topic, in case the student doesn't understand when I explain the topic in a certain way. I know that everyone learns differently (orally, visually, hands-on, etc.), so I keep myself ready to switch methods if need be. My main approach to tutoring is that I am there to help the student discover the answers on their own.
