...When tutoring pre-algebra I try and focus on the different skills needed to master algebra. After heading a middle school math tutoring department, I've noticed that topics such as order of operations, using fractions, and the coordinate system can cause students to get frustrated. Our time will be spent on normalizing these topics, as well as homework help.
