...As a rule, I have found this approach to help students become more comfortable and confident with the material. I am very passionate about learning and consider it a privilege to help a child discover something new they love about school. My schedule can be flexible, but I would prefer for all tutoring to occur between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

I am very patient with students that are hard at hearing and/or need more detailed instruction and help with their classes.

For the visual learner, I would work with various visual illustrations, flash cards and other activities that would aid the student in their studies.

...For younger children, the specific problem is usually associated with how to read and write or do math. In the case of reading and writing, my typical approach is to have them read or write a passage with me taking an interactive role. By that I mean, I will focus on a difficult word or phrase and help the child grasp the meaning, or I might tell a story about a word? things like that.
