...Making sure a student doesn't get overwhelmed and stays on track is very important to me and is something I can relate to. In high school and middle school, I often finished classroom assignments early and was asked to help out other students. I feel a responsibility to make sure that everyone is able to compete in today's fast-paced education.

...It is fun for me and I try to show my enthusiasm and enjoyment whenever I teach any subject in Math. As a substitute teacher in two different school districts, there are a large number of jobs that are able to be chosen in a given time period. Since I know Reading is one of the most important, if not the most important, subjects to learn and to teach, I often take a job as a Reading teacher.

...My tutoring radius is 10 miles. If a student is at the end of the radius, I would prefer to find a meeting place between both locations, such as a public library, etc.. I will travel up to 20 minutes at my current hourly rate. If this is not an option, I will drive the full distance with an increase in the hourly rate.
