...What difference does it make if you're the smartest tutor around if you can't connect with the student one to one, knowing how he or she learns best? This is why I believe the WHYs of any subject is most important. For example, if a kid understands how to figure out Michael Jordan's FG% for the 1986 NBA season, that might encourage a kid to take up statistics.
