...Often the key to understanding a certain subject is correcting a misunderstanding or removing a mental block. The subjects I'm comfortable in tutoring in are the ones that I've often had problems with myself and through the years I have been able to work out most of the kinks. Most student's don't have this luxury and can benefit from someone who has.

...I believe that example is not one of the ways to teach but the only way to teach effectively. For engineering courses I tend to assign small projects, which help them understand the subject better. I am looking forward to teaching math/electrical engineering, and physics.
