...Besides academic training, I also did a summer internship with Coromandel Fertilizers in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh, India, in summer of 1976. The best proving grounds in unit processes and unit operations for any chemical engineer are either fertilizer plant or a refinery. Each of these manufacturing environments essentially includes most of the unit operations studied bya student in college.
