...Keeping it all organized in the head (writing helps) and mental stamina (breaks and smaller goals help) are other potential problems. I sometimes invent some easier problems of my own that are steps to solving a more complex problem if I and the student feel that the student needs it. I have experience tutoring algebra, intermediate algebra, precalculus, and trigonometry.
