In graduate school at Arizona State University, I taught MAT 119 Finite Mathematics, MAT 142 College Mathematics, and MAT 170 Precalculus. I also tutored in the Arizona State University Math Tutor Center.

...However, I can teach basic math, general science courses, and a few others. My teaching method is to allow the student to find the answer themselves by asking the student questions. I find that as they figure it out themselves, they retain the information longer.

Once a student feels confident in their ability to do math, they tend to focus more in class and work harder to figure out difficult problems.
