My experience is that of a Foreign Language Instructor at local colleges. I teach beginning and intermediate levels of Spanish and Italian. I have, also, designed classes--in other words, when the class was "special" and no one was really sure how to teach it, I took all necessary information from the students and then designed it to meet the grammatical plus the specific needs of that class.

...I have worked with children ages 4-18 for over 8 years. I coached a swim team and taught lessons in high school and college, and have extensive experience working with each student's needs individually. I also currently work with children in a hospital research setting as my primary job.

...Ideally, I like to immerse my students in the language on the first day so I use the target language as much as possible. There is a difference between tutoring vs. teaching and I will help students/parents identify their needs to get the best out of my lessons. Finally, I teach/tutor all levels of Spanish, intro to literature, and creative writing.
