...Personally, I feel that learning is best in a one-on-one setting with consistent meetings. Many students I have tutored found that meeting 1-2 hours per week on a weekly basis was a significant help to their studies. Over time some students realized they needed more or less time per week and we adjusted our meeting times accordingly.

...Understanding the applications of linear algebra will prove to be very useful down the road if you ever need to deal with large amounts of data, especially in classes like quantum mechanics or differential equations. I was very successful in my linear algebra class and had a lot of fun learning it. The hardest part about learning linear algebra is understanding what all of the terms mean.
