...I think little tricks like that go a long way in exponentially increasing one's comprehension of the entire language, rather than drilling individual terms or concepts "ad nauseam". Closely linked to English skills, of course, is proper grammar. Again, thanks to my mom, I learned to diagram sentences as a child and I value those lessons.
