First off, I am an engineering major here at Texas A&M university. I am proficient in math, algebra, trigonometry, both Calculus 1 and 2, as well as some of the physical sciences like physics and chemistry. I have a solid understanding of almost everything from a math background, and am great at teaching too.

...I enjoy teaching other people how to solve problems and showing them effective ways of studying. I accepted credit for Engineering Calculus I & II by receiving a 5 on the AP Calculus BC test in high school. In my junior year of high school, I went to the TAPPS State Academic Meet and won 1st place in the Mathematics category, and in my senior year I won 1st place in Advanced Mathematics.

...I know how your TAs think- I've been there. I also completed my undergraduate degree at Texas A&M- so many of these courses I have taken myself. I have working knowledge of all things science related, but I can help with math, writing, and a number of other subjects as well.

...I am certified in all subjects from Pre-K to 8th grade. I have worked with many teachers and students to develop lessons that are aligned to Texas standards and engaged many learning styles. My curriculum specialist job worked specifically with technology.

...My major was art, minored in math, and secured my teaching certificate upon graduating college. My first teaching job was with Henderson I.S.D. in Henderson, TX teaching 8th grade remedial math. I taught school for a year before going into the private sector.
