...I am currently teaching at a private school in Chicago, but most recently was at a New England boarding school, for students with both learning differences and above average intelligence. I have experience working with an unique, but high potential group. I have over 10 years tutoring chemistry at the high school level.
...For college, I chose Northwestern University, where I majored in Communications. At Northwestern I was both a Communication Century Scholar and a Kaplan Scholar; this allowed me access to courses and professors of a high level early on in my college career. In my time in the Northwestern theatre community, I worked on dozens of productions and contributed to many student groups.
...My science degree is general, so I know a little bit about everything science and tech, but I'll just keep my qualifications to chemistry. Please contact me through WyzAnt. I will need a copy of your textbook or access to it, and a lesson plan for the semester (or at least a week's notice of what you plan to study). My kids, so far, have all gotten "A" grades in High School chemistry.
