I believe that sense can be made of the myriad of topics covered by viewing the topics as a body of work that models real-world situations and that the techniques you learn are to help you solve the real-world situations. By giving the topics purpose, you can get a better understanding of why we do what we do.

They can identify the topic sentence of each paragraph and rephrase it as a question, which brings the supporting details to light. I have taken Spanish my entire life and I am proficient at speaking and writing.

...My forte is teaching good, basic flute techniques that aren't necessarily taught in a band setting, where most beginning flute students learn. I just finished a very rigorous differential equations course at my university, earning an A in the process. Although it is a complicated subject, I understand the material quite well and have already helped quite a few students learn the material.
