...I am in my senior year of college. I have always had an interest in Mathematics, and the first three years of my degree have provided me with a broad knowledge of math and statistics. I volunteered to teach students after school to prepare them for math league competitions.

...My philosophy on teaching is that learning is based around the student and must start at the student's knowledge. I like to spend some time with the student and personally guide them though the material. I'm always pushing my students to challenge themselves and think for themselves so that they can in turn take their new knowledge and pass it on to others.

...I also currently work at a tutoring center for middle school and high school students. I love math, and I love passing this on to my students. I think it is incredibly rewarding to overcome a struggle, especially if you did not know you could, and I want my students to have this experience.

...I have a high affinity for math, leading me to receive all A's from **calculus** one to differential equations. I enjoyed math so much I decided to get a math minor on top of my mechanical engineering degree! Most of my tutoring experience has been with math, so I am very comfortable sharing my own math tricks with students.

...My goal in each session is to keep students challenged and develop their mathematical basics so that they understand the concepts completely. I give homework in each session and give progress reports to help them do better in their classes overall. I am available to meet mostly every day from 9 am to 9 pm.
