I'm a graduate student in Biochemistry. I've been tutoring high school and college students for the past 5 years, in all variety of math and science subjects. For math, I've successfully tutored students in everything from Algebra I to Calculus I, II, Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations.

...I have more than 10 years of experience in teaching math, **physics**, and engineering courses to science and non-science students at UMCP, Virginia Tech, and in Switzerland. I am a dedicated teacher and I always took the extra effort to spend time with students outside regular class hours to help them learn. It is from these individual sessions that I find the students learn the most.

...I took differential equations during my undergraduate program and passed with grade of A. I have helped students with differential equations at George Mason University math learning center. I have a solid knowledge of first and second order differential equations and have applied the concepts in many of electrical engineering courses such as circuits and signal and systems.

...I simply gently guide the student, as necessary, by asking leading questions. This approach is successful with most students. Life is short.

...These opportunities allowed me to work one-on-one with students, teach and review materials to a group, and help resolve any misunderstandings of the material. Additionally, I worked as a marching band technician for 5 years in Austin and helped high school studies learn and implement the fundamentals of music and movement. I have completed college math courses through calculus.
