If I had to qualify my tutoring style, I'd say the most important thing that I emphasize is physically intuitive analogies, supported by illustration. The thing that always frustrated me about STEM education is how happy some teachers are to explain concepts entirely with math. While the math supporting the sciences is hugely important, it's not particularly exciting or memorable.
