...There is also a 30-minute essay based upon a prompt, which is best answered using the typical 5 paragraph format: Opening, Point 1, Point 2, Point 3, Closing. I have students practice this timed essay at home, and then review their essay with them during the lesson. The bulk of the ACT math questions involve Algebra and Geometry, but there are a few Trigonometry and Algebra II questions.
