Hello! My name is Max, and I am a very experienced math tutor looking to help anybody who seems to be running into a mental wall against math. Mathematics can seem to be a very complex field of study and very overwhelming at times, but I'm here to help.

...I have 10+ years in tutoring, and have tutored virtually every science and math related subject.I have taken, and received an A in ordinary differential equations. I have also taken many other mathematical modeling courses that use differential equations. My degrees are in mathematics and biology, and I have taken probability and statistics courses in my undergrad.

...I graduated with my master's degree in physics in December 2015 from UTD. I have been teaching introductory physics classes at Eastfield College for three semesters now. I am new to tutoring on Wyzant, but I have been helping friends and classmates in these subjects throughout my years at college!

...Knowing and teaching are two different things. All tutors know the subject, but there are not many tutors who can deliver the idea to students. My subject area in my Ph. D. thesis was in Linear Algebra.

...Can I assume anything else about the problem?" "What do I want? What does the problem want me to find?" "What equations or concepts relate what I know to what I want? Do I need to use more than one concept to connect what I have to what I want?" And so on.
