...Looking forward to hearing from you!I have over 12 years of math teaching experience, mostly in pre algebra and algebra. It is my favorite age group and subject area! I have over 12 years of teaching experience-mostly in middle school math.
...I come from a musical mother and have been able to use my musical ear to learn songs and songwriting theory. I listen to all kinds of music and enjoy the many styles such as classical, jazz, rock, blues, hip-hop, rap, country, reggae, bluegrass, salsa, and styles that blend some of them together. I own an extensive collection of music cds and tapes.
...As a student myself, I realize that physics and mathematics can often appear as the most daunting of school subjects. And the puzzles posed by such demand a knack for creativity and the resolve for intense contemplation. Additionally, I propose that the seed for successful comprehension resides in you as much as it does in the most accomplished of scholars.
...I love books and love to share that love with other people. I have an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, where I earned a cash prize my senior year for being one of the top students in the department. I've continued to read and discuss Philosophy and related subjects off and on since college.

...I love helping people learn and seeing progress from students. I have taught undergraduate students at Carnegie Mellon University for 2 years and encouraged hands on learning. My style of teaching would be to encourage critical thinking in the sciences from the student, much like my experience in working in a research lab.
