...I realize students learn in a variety of different ways, and so I encourage the use of index cards, journals, homework, and pictures. I will first asses the student to evaluate what his/her strength and weaknesses are, and gear the study prep as such. Tutoring is not just about intellect; it's about the ability to transfer that intellect from mentor to student.
