...I very much enjoy explaining concepts in ways that the student can understand and relate to the real world, rather than just memorizing. I am a very relaxed and patient individual and get along well with all kinds of students. Although I have a degree in pyschology, my first two years were in engineering, and my third year was in health science.

...My entire thesis is based almost solely on computations using C++. In my research, I use Perl quite often to automate tasks. For me, it is my language of choice for writing scripts as opposed to bash scripting. I also find it very useful for massive text editing, and also for regular expressions.
