...I very much enjoy explaining concepts in ways that the student can understand and relate to the real world, rather than just memorizing. I am a very relaxed and patient individual and get along well with all kinds of students. Although I have a degree in pyschology, my first two years were in engineering, and my third year was in health science.

...While I have taken only a single course in computer science while an undergraduate, mostly all of my knowledge of programming is self-taught. My entire thesis is based almost solely on computations using C++. In my research, I use Perl quite often to automate tasks. For me, it is my language of choice for writing scripts as opposed to bash scripting.
