I am currently an 8th grade math teacher in Broomfield. My path towards becoming a teacher began in high school when I tutored younger students in math. I continued to tutor in college while I earned my B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering but it wasn't until I taught an undergraduate biology course while working on my PhD that I realized my true calling was teaching.

...I went to a Christian middle school/high school for seven years, and then obtained my BS at a Christian liberal arts school. Each of the corresponding ten years of education included at least one Bible class. Additionally, I have had three years of certification to teach children at vacation Bible school and in after-school church programs.
