...I love teaching all ages but have found Middle School students to be a population that needs me the most. I enjoy coming up with creative ways to convince them that reading can be fun. There is no "one size fits all" approach to helping a child overcome reading deficits but by providing them with tools (reading strategies) for their tool box they will learn to become self sufficient readers.

I received my reading specialist certification a few years ago, closely followed by a Master of Education in reading.
