...I have been teaching/tutoring Pre-Algebra for the last 19 years. My favorites topics in Pre-calculus are trigonometric equations and identities, matrices, conics, sequences/series and imaginary/complex numbers. Most of my Pre-Calculus students have a hard time with Trigonometric equations and identities which provide the basis for of the integration methods.

...Also, as a parent I understand how important communication is so that all are informed as to the students progress. I not only want to see grades improve but also an increase in confidence. I believe confidence is more than half the battle to becoming a successful math student!
