...One of my most effective teaching methods is to write problems based upon the student's area of difficulty. I like to start with very basic questions and slowly build up to larger, more interesting problems until the concept is fully grasped and appreciated. Of course, I will not waste time with an already mastered area unless the need for review comes up.
