...It is important to understand the concepts as you go, because what you learn early on will be used throughout the semester/year. Trigonometry is all about the Unit Circle and understanding rations. A lot of memorization of identities and formulas is required, but with explanations of how these identities and formulas were derived helps with comprehension.
