I've tutored for both High School and College courses and have numerous resources for the **math** portion of the ACT Exam and the GED. I taught high school **math** for over 10 years. The courses I taught are:
Pre-Algebra
Algebra 1 & 2
Geometry
Trigonometry
Pre-Calculus
Though I'm available on short notice I do ask for a 3 hour notice for cancellations and offer makeup sessions.

...So, while at CCSJ, I also began working in the school's student success center, tutoring between 10 and 20 hours a week. My GRE score is a combined 335, placing me in the top 2% of all test takers. I have spent the last three years studying the form of the test, and as a result I have developed an approach that is comprehensive and yet also accessible.

...I have two years of experience tutoring high school **math** in CPS. My students were in Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II courses, and I assisted them with their work for those classes. I'm comfortable working with students from a wide range of abilities, and have worked with students with learning disabilities.

...Later, I went on to earn my BS in natural science, and I worked in science for many years, and recently completed my M.Ed. with a concentration in science. I guess you could say science has always been my favorite subject. If you need help preparing for the science portion of the ACT, I will be happy to help.

...I'd like to continue working with high school age students in order to keep helping students succeed. I work using a guided inquiry approach to problem solving. In most cases, students will know how to solve a problem if they have just a small amount of guidance.
