...When writing, it's very important to proofread your work because, what you leave out of a sentence can be as important as what you put in the sentence. I teach my students a few simple strategies such as: (1) read your work backwards, (2) read your work out loud, (3) avoid distractions, and (4) read over your work VERY slowly. Spelling is always the hardest subject for my students to learn.
